Chapman Falls in the Sechelt area is one of the Sunshine Coast's great beauty spots. As a hiking destination, the series of cataracts known as Chapman Falls is incomparable.

An additional attraction of this 2 km one-way route is the beautiful panoramic view of the entire Sechelt area, including the village, Trail Bay and the Strait of Georgia across to Mount Arrowsmith on Vancouver Island.

Access: 1.9 km south of Sechelt take the first road to the left - Selma Park Road. Travel 400 metres up this road to the gravel road to the left, which leads to the powerline right of way. Park here and walk 200 metres west. This brings you to the crest of the hill, and the village of Sechelt will lie before you.

Summer sunsets are magnificent when viewed from this spot. After viewing from here, return and take the road that bounds the west side of the reservoir. After 1.2 kilometres, circumvent the gate and a further 15 minutes walk brings you to the Falls. The road is driveable to the gate if you want a shortened hike.
